Please be careful! The car air conditioning gas will be changed.

HFO-1234yf has been put into practical use as a gas to replace alternative refrigerants, and the switch has begun!

Currently, domestic cars use R134a as the refrigerant for car air conditioning, but due to the revision of the Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law, there are restrictions on the use of R134a gas. As an alternative refrigerant, HFO-1234yf has been developed and the switch has begun. Its features include a lower environmental impact compared to R134a and it does not contribute to global warming. The transition to HFO-1234yf has already been underway for European cars since 2017, and Japanese cars have started the full transition with new models from 2018. In the future, based on the revised Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law, a reduction of 10% in R134a usage vehicles is mandated from 2019 to 2023, 40% from 2024 to 2028, and 70% from 2029 to 2032. Therefore, the switch to HFO-1234yf in domestic cars will accelerate. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
